This year, in celebration of our 20th anniversary, the Wayzata Education Fund is reimagining its annual fundraiser and holding a gala in place of its traditional golf event. The gala will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Wayzata Country Club.

The Wayzata Education Fund is an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization that provides grants for innovative curricular projects that are outside of the district budget. We call these “From Excellent to Exceptional” grants. Wayzata’s schools are indeed excellent, but our teachers continue to imagine new ways to engage our students and meet their needs to provide an exceptional learning experience. It’s our mission to help bring these ideas to fruition.

Now more than ever our teachers and students need our support.  Last year, we received over $170,000 worth of grant requests, the most in our history. It is clear that our teachers and staff have innovative ideas they’d like to bring to life and we’d love to be able to fund as many of them as possible.
