Engineering and Robotics Enhancements

Ken Pashina, WHS, $7280

Why These Grants:

Engineering:

We would like to add Welding Simulators to the Metals Manufacturing class. Weld simulators use is increasing, and we would like to give students the opportunity to experiment with the correct technique before they actually use a welder.

Robotics:

Applied Robotics is a class available to students grades 9-12, and in 2023, served about 60 students per year. Drone usage is increasing in our world, and so we seek funding to have drones as a part of this class to introduce concepts of Aviation.

Status: funded in May 2024, fully in use in SY 2024-2025.
