In Their Own Words

A comprehensive understanding of structural design of buildings is an important part of an Architectural education & career. Students planning to major in Architecture (as well as many engineering disciplines) can expect to take between 2-4+ semester courses in structures at the college level and will continue to use this knowledge throughout their careers. As I have continued to develop and improve the Architectural design program and curriculum I have identified structural design as an area for additional exposure for our students.

Status: funded in May 2023, procured in Fall 2023. Fully in use for SY 2023-2024.
